Skilled workers • National D visa • Temporary residence permit (Leidimas laikinai gyventi)
Lithuania is a member state of the European Union, the Schengen Area and the eurozone, with one of the fastest-growing economies in the Baltic region. Its manufacturing, construction and hospitality sectors face a structural shortage of qualified staff, and the state has therefore opened a regulated channel for the employment of third-country nationals. For a skilled worker, Lithuania offers a direct and legally transparent route: an employment contract with a licensed Lithuanian employer, a national D visa, and a temporary residence permit issued through the MIGRIS system of the Migration Department.
Human Power Service Limited presents this programme in cooperation with UAB TIA grupė (Azalijų str. 1-3, Giraitės k., LT-54310 Kauno r., Registry No. 307137403), a Lithuanian employer recruiting for five skilled positions with net salaries from 1,200 to 1,500 EUR, accommodation and transport to the workplace provided at the employer's cost.

We state the disadvantages above as plainly as the advantages. A candidate who understands the climate, the waiting period and the cost of the documents before departure does not abandon the process halfway — and that is in the interest of the worker, the employer and HPS alike.

HPS accepts candidates for the Lithuanian programme from 25 countries
Vietnam (HPS branch open in Hanoi)
* India — recruitment is open, but stricter requirements apply to highly qualified specialists and students.
Candidates of any of the nationalities listed above may apply for all five positions in this programme, provided they meet the
professional requirements and hold English at A2 level. Nationality does not affect the price of the programme or the
processing time — only the speed at which the police clearance certificate is issued and legalised in the country of origin.
HPS delivers this programme as a full A-to-Z service, with one exception: air travel to Lithuania is arranged and paid for by the candidate. Everything from the selection of the employer to the issue of the residence permit is handled by HPS and the employer together. The candidate's obligations are limited to supplying correct documents and travelling to the consulate and to Lithuania.
| Document | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Passport | Valid international passport, with sufficient validity for the whole period of the employment contract. |
| CV (Resume) | Full employment history, in English. |
| Police clearance certificate | With apostille, certified by the authority of the country in which it was issued, and legalised at the Lithuanian consulate. This is the most time-critical document — start it first. |
| Certificate confirming experience | An official certificate or diploma confirming professional experience in the applied-for occupation (vocational diploma, trade certificate, employer's work-experience confirmation). |
| English — A2 | Confirmed level of English no lower than A2. |
| Stage | Duration | Content |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Selection and confirmation | upon application | Review of the CV, selection of the vacancy, confirmation of the candidate by the employer. |
| 2. Preparation of documents | 7–14 days | Collection and verification of the file, translations, employment contract, work permit procedure. The period is counted from the moment the candidate supplies the complete set of documents. |
| 3. Decision in MIGRIS | 40–60 days | Examination of the application by the Migration Department of the Republic of Lithuania. The statutory period is not subject to acceleration. |
| 4. Consulate and D visa | after the decision | The employer books the appointment at the Lithuanian consulate; the candidate submits biometrics and receives the national D visa. |
| 5. Departure and arrival | candidate's side | Air travel is arranged and paid for by the candidate. The employer provides accommodation and transport to the workplace on arrival. |
| 6. Residence card | after arrival | Declaration of the place of residence, biometrics and issue of the temporary residence permit card, with HPS assistance. |
Total: approximately 50 to 75 days from submission of the complete set of documents to the decision of the Migration Department, plus the consular and travel stage. The timeline runs only from the day the candidate delivers a complete and correctly legalised file.
For more than eleven years Human Power Service Limited has been placing workers from South Asia, South-East Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe with employers across the European Union. We do not sell promises. We present a named employer, a signed demand letter, a stated salary, and a procedure that is set out here step by step — together with the parts of it that are difficult, slow, or paid for by the candidate.
This programme opens ten places for electricians, ten for metal processing masters, ten for CNC operators, five for bricklayers and five for cooks. Places are allocated in the order in which complete document sets are received, and the police clearance certificate with apostille and consular legalisation is the document that decides who is first.
We are ready to open your case.
Confirm your agreement to work with Human Power Service Limited, and your file will be with the employer within twenty-four hours.
